About the Conference
Following the tremendous success of Biomedical Asia 2001 and 2002, we are pleased to present BioMedical Asia 2004. Biomedical Asia 2002 and BioTechnica Asia 2002 attracted approximately 800 conference delegates and 2400 exhibition visitors. This year, the event expects over 1000 conference delegates and over 3000 exhibition visitors.
BioMedical Asia and BIOTECHNICA ASIA 2004 are key events for the bioscience industry in Asia.
BioMedical Asia, the largest biomedical conference in Asia Pacific will bring together industry leaders, academics, venture capitalists, research scientists and legal professionals from around the world for an interactive and productive discussion on the latest trends in the biomedical sciences industry.
This year's conference theme is "The Science behind the Drug". Our line-up of distinguished speakers include among others, Dr. Alex Matter - Director, Novartis Institute of Tropical Diseases, Dr. Corey Goodman - President and CEO, Renovis and Dr. William Chin - Vice President of Discovery Biology Research and Clinical Investigation, Eli Lilly and Company.
The speakers will address key issues and current trends in drug discovery, drug development, cell therapy, protein therapeutics and diagnostics.
Jointly organized by Deutsche Messe AG, Hannover Fairs Asia Pte Ltd, Singapore Economic Development Board and the Agency for Science, Technology and Research, Biomedical Asia (BMA) will provide an effective networking platform for industry players and researchers.
